Ingredients Transparency
We believe in using simple, clean ingredients for our products. When it’s kept that way, we are able to create the most nourishing and flavorful foods possible. Before we get started, know that all of our ingredients are sustainably sourced, Non-GMO/Organic, 100% Plant-based/Vegan and Kosher. None of our products contain:

Dates
The heart and the most important ingredient of our product. Sweet! Isn’t it?
Our All-Natural Deglet Nours dates are mainly grown in Algeria (Tolga, Oued Righ) and Tunisia (in the areas of Jérid and Nefzaoua). Our suppliers source these dates directly from small-scale, traditional farmers to create positive impact. Deglet Nours dates are called ‘Queen of all dates” due to its translucent light color, soft touch, caramel/honey like taste. Dates are rich in fiber, potassium and magnesium – all essential for normal digestive processes!
One of the Best Cacao
“Chocolates” cause good mood! Who would not agree? The purer the ingredient, the greater the deliciousness!
Let’s briefly learn something new if you already did not know! Chocolates are made from fruit of Cacao tree. Two ingredients that makes the original chocolate comes from the fruit itself – Cacao Butter & Cacao Nibs. World’s two best cacao are Criollo and Nacional. According to To’ak, “These two best cacaos are prized among chocolate makers throughout the world for two reasons: they are extremely rare and their flavor profiles are considered the most desirable.” The original source of our Organic Chocolate – Criollo beans are grown at the foothills of Andes Mountains leading down to the Amazon rain forest. Our Trrufls are coated with organic chocolate made with just two ingredients – Cacao butter and Cacao nibs. The outcome is wonderfully intense smooth texture with mildly nutty flavor.
Oats
We use Organic, Gluten-free sprouted oats for our CacaoNut and CacaoSeed Bites products. These are grown using only Plant-based cultivation methods and are sprouted for enhanced vitamins & minerals and easy digestion. Just like us, our supplier also believes that you deserve 100% transparency in everything you eat. They even connect us directly to the farms from where these oats are grown! How sweet! We only use certified USDA Organic, Non-Glyphosate certified, Non-GMO verified and Vegan certified oats for our products.
Apricots
Apricots are the sweetest and one of the most delicious dried fruit. These Organic, sweet & tangy dried apricots are hand-sourced from the finest growing areas along the Mediterranean and imported from Turkey. Apricots are also rich in vitamin A and beta-carotene, making it another great super food ingredient for our products.
Nuts, Seeds & Spices
Nuts
We are nuts about Nuts! Though at this time, we are only using Almonds in some of our products. This creamy, crunchy, healthy superfood is California grown, sustainably sourced and certified Non-GMO verified. Almonds are loaded with healthy fats, fiber, protein, magnesium and vitamin E. It also helps lower blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar levels.
Pumpkin Seeds
Another most important ingredient and one of the best substitutes for Nuts due to its Rich and Nutty flavor – Pepitas! Pumpkin seeds are also known in North America as a Pepitas. These seeds come with a long history of nutritional use, almost 7500 years ago to the Oaxaca Highlands of Mexico. We source 100% natural, unsalted seeds grown in Mexico which are also USDA Organic Certified. Pumpkin seeds are high in protein, phosophorous and iron, and a great source of omega 3.
Chia Seeds
It is believed that Chia seed was staple in the ancient Aztec diet! We use Mexico grown, Organic Crop Improvement Association (OCIA) certified Organic Chia Seeds in our products. They are full of nutrients and are exceptionally high in fiber, omega-3s, proteins, and healthy fat.
Flax Seeds
The nutrition benefits are very similar when it comes to comparing flax and chia seeds. The history of Flax seeds reports that the plant originated in India but has been farmed across the world for thousands of years. The Flax seeds we use in our products are grown in United States, USDA Organic Certified and Gluten-Free certified.
Cardamom
Cardamom are one of the oldest spices and frequently used in Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine. Though it is native to Southern India, it is also grown in Guatemala, which is now the largest producer and exporter in the world. We personally love the taste of cardamom spice when added to any desserts so we made Trrufls with a hint of Cardamom (Just for you to experience the bold flavor)!
Besides its unique aroma and flavor, Cardamom is believed to have may medicinal property such as lower blood pressure, improve breathing and aid weight loss. We source use only USDA certified organic cardamom processed without artificial flavors or preservatives.
Cayenne
Cayenne pepper is widely used in Mexican, Asian, Indian, and Southern cooking. Some of our Trrufls are made with a hint of cayenne to add a spicy kick! These spicy peppers are rich in Vitamin A, C, and contain carotenoids and flavonoids, which have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. The Cayenne pepper we use in our products are grown in India and USDA Organic Certified.
Pumpkin Spice
A spice blend that doesn’t include Pumpkin as an ingredient 🙂 but perfect for our Fall & Holiday season editions! These Pumpkin Pie Spice blend contains a premium combination of all natural cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice, mace and cloves. The result? An earthy, warm sweetness to our Pumpkin Spice product line just when you need it.
Coconut Oil
We are a big fan of Coconut Oil, but we don’t expect the same from you! That’s why we selected all-natural ‘steam refined’ pure, odor & taste free Coconut oil for our products. Coconuts probably originated somewhere in Indo-Malaya. The Coconut Oil we use for our products is steam refined and made from premium organic coconuts grown in the farms of Philippines. Our supplier sources world’s finest Organic, sustainably grown, and responsibly harvested coconuts while keeping society and the planet in mind. Coconut oil is high in MCTs which provide a rapid energy source that your body can absorb and use faster than other types of saturated fat. It also contains neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Packaging & Shipping
Our products packaging meets FDA requirements for direct food contact. Our home-compostable pouches are vegan, non-GMO, and are not made with PLA. They do not contain harmful chemicals such as bisphenol (including BPA and over a dozen other derivatives), PFAS, or phthalates. Our product labels are made from natural sugarcane fibers, these are also recyclable and home-compostable. All of the Compostable packaging is certified by ASTM D6400, EN13432. The zipper is additionally certified compostable by TUV.
The end life of our product packaging is enriched soil when composted.

Shipping
Most of the time when shipping orders, we use USPS recyclable boxes. These boxes meet Sustainable Forestry Initiative or Forest Stewardship Council certification standards. We also reuse cardboard boxes and void fill. Why Recyclable Shipping? Due to the nature of our products we have very limited options when shipping temperature sensitive food products. In order to make sustainable products more affordable and to encourage the movement, at this time we use recyclable/reusable shipping materials. We make sure that if the shipping material involves plastic (such as cold packs or insulated bags), it is reusable/recyclable. We ship most orders within one business day to ensure fast and efficient delivery to our customers, along with shipment tracing.
Though we would like you to compost our product packaging bags and labels once done, we also offer ‘Compost4Me’ service for those who are unable to do so for some reason. When making a purchase on our website, you’ll have an option to add Compost4Me mailer. Once purchased, you’ll receive this mailer along with your products order. You may return to us by using emailed shipping label or wait until you have accumulated at least 10 bags. Once we receive it, we compost them for you at the cost of our own time and efforts, take images and share it on social media. Unlike other providers, we do not charge anything additional than the shipping rate for the whole process. Why? Because it is more than just a business for us ? ❤️
