10 minutes Sesame Energy Balls | 7 Ingredients | Wholesome -Vegan -Tasty

Loaded with ingredients rich in omega-3, antioxidants, protein, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties.

I love these energy balls. They are sweet, healthy, and loaded with antioxidants. Growing up, I used to eat a simple version of it made with only 3 ingredients – sesame, jaggery, and clarified butter.

These quick bites are modified from traditional version to make it vegan & healthier.

The reason I thought of these “Til Laddo”, sesame balls, at this time around a year is because we specially make it during winter. This is one of the must have food items on the occasion of ‘Makarsakranti’, West part of India’s kite flying festival – A full day event of Terrace Gathering accompanied with mouthwatering food.

City’s (Ahmedabad’s) skyline view is totally different every year on 14th of January, landing a daytime view of colorful sky with kites and nighttime view of stunning lanterns slowly ascending into the sky! I celebrated the entire day enjoying special food and wanted to share one of the recipes here. I have customized recipe, even if you do not have jaggery at home.

My kids love these sesame balls ( or anything, as long as it is sweet?). It’s a win-win. All 3 of them reminds me if I forget to pass it on!

☹️*Do not have Jaggery but still want to try?

??Reduce sesame seeds quantity to 1/3 cup and substitute Jaggery with 1 1/2 tbs maple syrup + 1 tbs of any nut/seed butter.

Taste will be different (more nutty) but still delicious and protein packed?
